Last night I dreamed I took a stroll
and took along a fishing pole,
and sat beside a little stream
where I could fish and sort of dream.
And soon I saw a dragon fly!
which means a dragon's coming by.
I hid behind a Lemon tree,
and lemon sharks jumped up at me.
I'm sure a fearsome monster roared
rose up on wings and skyward soared
I think it smiled, because I hid,
if it was real, I'm glad I did.
These night time walks are so much fun
that I feel bad when they are done.
So many things I always find
because they dwell within my mind.
AMBER
Amber is first of my two names
and Bragg we call the total crew.
I should be twins, my Daddy claims
cause I have pep enough for two.
I used to need a three wheeled trike
but now I'm big and almost six,
and ride so well, my grown-up bike,
that Megan soon will teach me tricks.
When Dad comes home, and dinner's done
we roughhouse on the front room floor
which always is so darned much fun
I always beg for just once more.
Sometimes for fun, I let him win
so he won't know it's time for bed.
Dad never forgets to tuck me in
and kiss me on my sleepy head.

Scooter and I have news so wild
most adults would think untrue,
but different facts can bless the child.
with views adults might misconstrue.
If you were God how would you make
an Angel's form, to do God's chores?
God chose the Dog, to faithful take
boundless love to whom he adores.
Thus Courtney has a special friend
protecting her both day and night.
A loving God, did kindly send
An Angel Dog for her delight.
