Nursery Rhymes
by Shelby M. Forrest

Barry Moore sat down on a chair,
But when he sat, the chair wasn't there.
The kids all laughed at Barry Moore
When Barry's bottom hit the floor.

Paula pencil was rather bright.
She could not read, but she could write.
But she got dull and out of joint
When someone broke her pencil point.

Whenever I scratch my fingers
On the blackboard I have found
The kids in class all hold their ears
Because of the screechy sound.
