by Shelby M. Forrest This poem is going to be about Little eight year old Pasquale. Just by the way he sounds, I'd guess That he is friendly and jolly. Baseball and soccer are two of his sports His favorites, they seem to be. But now that he has a new swimming pool, Top swimmer he'll turn out to be. Pasquale, now that it's summer time, And the kids are out of school, A lot of new friends you don't even know Will come to 'examine' your pool. Three cousins does little Pasquale have - Jaclyn, Nicole and Daniella. Each one of them is a cute little girl. Not one of them is a fella. Pasquale is active in his church. He just received First Communion. This important step in the life of his church, With God helps cement the union. Grandparents are going to be proud of him In Brooklyn and in Cresskill. He'll grow into the kind of man That they would hope he will.
