An Accomplished Little Sarah
by Shelby M. Forrest

Nine year old Sarah in Georgia lives
She's really a Georgia Peach.
With Gramma, though, in summer time
She lives on a Florida beach.

She loves to watch the manatees -
Flat tails and big, broad feet,
And view the turtles laying eggs
On the beach in summer's heat.

Other people Sarah loves to help.
She's generous and energetic.
She loves to read, do crafts, and swim
And she's a word game addict.

Sarah is learning how to cook,
Has just become a Scout.
She loves most every animal -
Except for snakes--they're out!

From the principal, she's earned awards,
And even better yet -
She won four times from the president,
An award she will ne'er forget.
