To Tyler From Julia
by Shelby M. Forrest

Tyler is a little boy,
Who is almost four years old.
For three years he was all alone
Just one child in the fold.

Two loving parents had he, of course,
But he didn't have a pet.
This lonely, little three year old
Needed all the love he could get.

Eight months ago I appeared on the scene
Only he was here before me.
I am Julia, his little sister, and
Big brother just adores me.

He always wants to pick me up
He likes to squeeze and hug me.
I get so much attention now,
That sometimes it does bug me.

For now there's just the two of us
First Tyler and then me.
But who knows what the future holds ?
Some day there may be three.
