A Poem for Ally
by Shelby M. Forrest

Ally and I have been best of friends
For years, a total of three.
We have played lots of softball together,
And she's always been there for me.

A Poem for Emily
by Shelby M. Forrest

Emily and I since Second Grade
Basketball have played together.
And we have been the best of friends
Through both foul and fair weather.

A Poem for Bobbie
by Shelby M. Forrest

For two years Bobbie has made me laugh,
We've been friends since Grade Four.
We'll move together to Junior High,
And she'll make me laugh some more.

A Poem for Caleigh
by Shelby M. Forrest

Caleigh, too, is a cherished friend,
And I like her very much.
She won't go on to Junior High,
But as friends, we'll keep in touch.

A Poem for Christine
by Shelby M. Forrest

Since Third Grade I have played softball
And basketball with Christine.
We have remained the best of friends,
We know what friendship means.

A Poem for Nichole
by Shelby M. Forrest

Nichole just came to my school this year,
But she's a good friend of mine.
Nichole is a very good artist, too,
And we get along just fine.

A Poem for Patrice
by Shelby M. Forrest

From Third Grade I have been with Patrice,
Then through grades four and five.
And I know we will remain good friends
When together in Junior High
