The Emu
Latin name: Dromaius novaehollandiae

The emu is the second biggest bird, next to the ostrich. And like its African cousin, the emu cannot fly. The emu lives in Australia, throughout the bushlands.

Nowadays, the emu can be found in many different parts of the world. But unlike most exotic animals, the emu is not just found at zoos; many emus can be found in farms!
