On The last Day Of School
by Lindi, Age 9 On the last day of school we had a fun time but it was a sad time too. Most of my friends and I brought cameras and took pictures of all our friends! We signed T-shirts and wrote on them. Report cards were given out on the last day of school, luckily I got straight A's! Our home room Mom made paintings of bodies, cut out the head, and we put our heads in the hole and it looked like we were at the beach! We had pizza and soda! Our party looked like we were in Hawaii! We had music playing like Backstreet Boys and Vitamin C Graduation (friends forever). That song is very sad! We did the limbo! It was a half day so then we had to say good-bye to all our good friends and hope to see them next year. But I had the best teacher, Mrs.Holmes! I had tears in my eyes, crying, hugging all my friends like Jenna, Courtney, even my friend Jeff! I hope I see all my friends next year! |

3rd Grade! Dedicated to all my 3rd Grade Friends in Mrs. Holmes' Class by Lindi, Age 9 Oh 3rd Grade oh 3rd Grade oh how I loved it in 3rd Grade! With so much fun and Loving songs, oh how much I loved it in 3rd grade! With multiplication and division with P.E on the run! We said jokes laughed and made arts and crafts! oh how I loved it in 3rd grade! With all my friends I loved so much it was really hard to say good-bye with tears in my eyes and a wink and said good-bye to all my friends! So it is really hard to say good-bye to all your wonderful Friends! Friends Forever 3rd Grade friends from Mrs. Holmes' class! |

The story about all my relatives! by Lindi, Age 9 My Mom had 7 sisters and 2 brothers which makes 9 sisters and brothers! And I have 17 cousins plus 3 more that are coming! We always have family get togethers! Those are always fun~! Like for Easter we usually all go to Tennessee. This summer all our cousins are coming down to Florida in 2 weeks for 4th of July! For Christmas we all meet in Illinois at a big hotel and stay there for like a week! When it's time to leave we all have to say our good-byes and some of us have tears in our eyes because we don't see each other too often. And that's why it's so much fun to have such a BIG family! This is a true story! |

I wish I could see my friends every day! by Lindi, Age 9 To all my good friends! It would be so cool if I could see my friends every day! We could go outside and run away! Kick the ball, Sing some songs and call some people on the way! We could play video games on the computer have a little fun on my brother's scooter! Even go out to eat at hooters! We could e-mail friends. Have time to spend Like this day will never end! But then again I have to say it's getting pretty late. So I say good-bye and have a good time for this day has come to an end. |
