The Snake And The Cake
by Holli
There once was a snake that ate a cake.
The snake got a tummy ache!
But the snake felt better after he went to the lake.

The City
by Holli
I was in the city, that was very bitty.
I had a kitty, and it lived in the city.
It was a very pretty kitty. But sometimes it was a pity!
Some people think she's witty!

My New School
by Holli
I have a new school. That's just because I just moved and I miss all my other friends - Lindsay, Ashley, Larrisa, and all the others! But I liked someone but I can't tell who but that someone is named Eddie.

God Is In My Garden
by Holli
God is in my garden today
He waters my garden everyday
He likes the violets that are very blue,
But most of all he loves you!

When I Was
by Mandy
When I was about one or two,
I wished to be mom and dad too.
To go to work during the day,
So I could stay with them all day.
When I was about three years old,
I thought that I was very bold,
With power like Harry Potter,
And turned the bad guys to butter.
When I was at the age of four,
I wanted to be very tall,
So that I could play basketball,
With Michael Jordan in the hall.
When I was four going on five,
I wished to live a better life,
To be as pretty as Snow White,
And play Lego from morning till night.
When I was at the age of six,
Poor me often felt tired and sick,
It's painful to take injections,
But joyful to have no Dictation.
When I was a seven-year-old girl,
I wanted to be a Supergirl,
To appear always with a swirl,
And put the robbers into jail.
When I was nine going on ten,
I learnt the simple future tense.
I hoped to be a brave fireman,
Or become a righteous policeman.
When I was about eleven,
I wished I were only seven,
Loads of homework for me to do,
Never before had I hated school.
At present, I am twelve years old,
To behave well is what I am told,
I hope to have a great buddy,
Who stops me from being grumpy.

My Dear Teachers
by Jacqueline
My dear teachers,
Thank you for your thoughtfulness,
Thank you for your kindness...
We celebrate Teachers' day,
and all of us are feeling so gay!
In the morning we say hi,
After lessons we say bye!
I know some of you scold,
but let me tell you, you're so old.
Flowers, presents, cards,
all you get, so unfair!

Nature
by Aisha
Nature is my favourite sight,
that fills my eyes of colours so bright.
Look at the orchards of trees,
most are filled with honey bees.
Look at those animals,
who do tricks at carnivals.
Smell flowers that look so pretty,
if not in your garden a great pity.

His Day
by Magon
Age 12
Angels dance and sing,
While the children laugh and play,
And the bells ring in the heavens,
Rainbows fill the sky,
With love and warm happy light,
Through out the earth,
And God smiles big all on this one true day,
His BirthDay!

Play Time
by Magon
Age 12
I go out and play,
Like every thing is ok,
I pretend like I can fly,
To places that won't make me cry,
I smell the roses and make funny posses,
I smile big and make mud cake,
Then the day is to the end,
I go in and lay down,
And I remember all the fun I had!

Just A Dream
by Magon
Age 12
Silver horses dance and prance,
While white snow twirls down to the ground,
Some one sings in a room near by,
White lights flash by,
And u ask yourself what is this place,
Someone points to a bed,
In which you see yourself in,
You think this is bad,
While superman flys around,
And you try not to cry,
Then you wake up,
You see your room as you lay in bed,
And you say,
"Just A Dream"

I Am Here
by Magon
Age 12
Someone is here for you,
When you're sad or mad,
And it's me!
I will be there for you through the hard times and the good,
So never feel alone,
I might be clueless and clumsy,
But I am here,
So if you feel sad, mad,or alone cause.....
I Am Here For You!
